    I had been sentenced to the department of corrections because the victim was not completely truthful on my original sentencing. The judge said the case so that he can reconsider the sentence. My original attorney told me I would lose. I knew about John Stobbs' reputation as one of the best criminal defense lawyers in the St. Louis area. As soon as I met with John, I knew I had made the right decision and changing lawyers. I can't believe how hard he worked for me to show the judge that I should receive probation and not prison time. Every call I made John returned within one day. He truly cared about my case. I felt as if someone was actually on my side instead of telling me I didn't have a chance. John was very patient, professional, and communicated with me. I learned later on that this was the first time in nearly 30 years that I just changed his mind on a motion to reconsider sentencing. I felt like John gave me my life back and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

    We've been here twice and are actually going to visit it again this month. It is a very nice visitor's center, well stocked with maps and brochures, the people are lovely and helpful and the bathroom is clean.

    Ameide Marie, whose real name is Ameide Clark is one of the pushiest and most dishonest salespeople I have ever dealt with. Her review is written in such a way so as to lead the reader to believe that she was a client or prospective client of mine. Ms. Clark called my office and lied to my secretary claiming she was a prospective new client. My secretary texted me and when I called Ms. Clark back she asked if I handled federal criminal cases. When I said yes, she immediately went into sales mode. She told me that for a price her company would send clients to me. This is probably the tenth time Ms. Clark's company called me and each time I requested to be removed from their list. As soon as I told Ms. Clark this, she became argumentative, so finally I forcefully told her to stop calling me and hung up on her. In my opinion, Ms. Clark's negative review of me is nothing more than revenge for me refusing to do business wth her company.
